Two Stars on one Island…

The smell of cyprus, eucalyptus and pins trees is exhilarating. A bicycle ride in the Porquerolles allows you to fill your lungs with pure sea air, and be caressed by the same breezes that fill the sails of the elegant Trimarans that are present just off shore. The soft sound of the gentle waves against the shore provides the perfect atmosphere for a restful vacation.
 
Terrace under the eucalyptuses Le Relais de la Poste, one of most picturesque of the island, seems to pass its life on vacation, surrouded by bougainvillea.

At night one experiences the legendary calm of an Island which is a nationally protected park.

How to get to the Porquerolles island :

To arrive at this Island paradise one must get to "la Tour Fondue" on the coast facing the Porquerolles where a short boat ride takes you to the Port of the Porquerolles and the hotel. It is an easy trip by Plane from Paris, or by T.G.V. the famous rapid French train, or by car.

To arrive by plane from Paris, several airlines offer flights directly to Toulon/Hyeres leaving from the Orly airport. The flight takes about 90 minutes. (For information on flight schedules call 33 4 94 00 83 83). Upon arrival in Toulon/Hyeres a 10-minute taxi ride takes you to "la Tour Fondue".

To arrive by T.G.V. you get off at the train station in Toulon and a short taxi ride takes you to "la Tour Fondue".

To arrive by car, you take the auto route exit at Hyères and then follow the signs to Giens-les Iles and then to Porquerolles, La Tour Fondue. Porquerolles island map

At La Tours Fondue you can take a TLV boat to the Porquerolles or a taxi boat (telephone 04 94 58 31 19) which takes about 10 minutes.

On arriving at the Port, go to the center of the village and the hotel is just facing the Place des Ames.
